The Comprehensive Plan is a formally adopted document stating the City’s goals and policies as they relate to land use, housing, parks & open space, transportation, utilities, and other issues. The Comp Plan is updated every 10 years; and provides a future plan or “blueprint” for the community from 2020 to 2040.

As part of this planning process, the City of Mendota Heights held three Open Houses - Community Engagement Meetings to give residents an opportunity to learn more about the Comprehensive Plan, provide input and suggestions, and participate in some activities with city staff and other residents in formulating the new plan.

Residents were also invited to take the City survey.

If you have any questions on the proposed comprehensive plan update, please call Tim Benetti, Community Development Director at (651) 255-1142 or email: timb@mendota-heights.com
